Updates (stories and recs page)

I've been utterly terrible about them, but with the addition of varsity crew to my other sports activities and the fact that I'm double majoring with a minor I've somehow forgotten writing. During my break I was planning on working on my stories when my computer went crazy on me and I almost wiped its memory trying to fix it, but a friend of mine has managed to save what I was working on so I am praying that inspiration will strike (especially since I'm also in a holiday story exchange on unknowable)!

Also, as for the recs pages, I do plan on updating them, possibly even this evening so keep an eye out for that!

Into the Dark: Update

This is a story that I am incredibly fond of, but I cannot help, but be a bit dissapointed with it, most primarily due to the lackluster length of the chapters. I am goign to put this story on pause, give it a little time out, and go back to totally re-write it as I honestly believe that this will help reinvigorate it.

I apologize for this for any fans, but the current state it's in really just leaves me uninspired.

Update on Statuses

hello, again, onto my story statuses now...

In Retrospect: As previously mentioned, the actual chapter for this was somehow lost and I’ve had to re-write the entire thing from scratch. I’ve actually managed to do so and it’s with my beta right now, but I feel a major rewrite/revise of this coming on, so give me a week to post it.

Like a Romantic Comedy: Working on the penultimate moments as we speak.

Unearthed and Unnerved: as soon as I get “Like a Romantic Comedy” out of the way this one is in queue, promise!

Into the Dark: this one is actually already being worked on, but I needed to take a break from it to finally force myself to re-write that “In Retrospect” chapter, but I hope to have time to work on this soon… I’ll update ASAP, but no promises as to when that “as soon as” will actually occur.

I Know that You Sleep with My Boyfriend Redux: ah this one probably won't come out until after I have the last chapters of LaRC and U&U up, I’m afraid, but maybe that will be soon… if I’m super duper lucky that is, and reviews are always a nice incentive, too! ;)

I honestly didn't expect it to happen, but I actually managed to update every story, save for In Retrospect--which I would have had if I hqadn't lost the file with half the chapter written, which has left me rather depressed and unmotivated now!

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the updates and, for anyone interested, please drop a vote on my current poll, it'd mean a lot to hear what you all think about the idea of having a redux of I Know that You Sleep with my Boyfriend.

Also, here is a crucial note on the redux, for those interested: if I do do it then it will be once I finish Like a Romantic Comedy and Unearthed & Unnerved, both of which are nearing their ends anyway.

Please, leave a comment here if you have anythign to say about the prospect, good or bad, i would like to hear it!

I apologize for the long wait for me to update, but I've been incredibly bogged down with work at school and then there's life-responsibilities [i.e. friends... parties... etc.] which normally isn't too big of a problem with me, but when I am forced into taking biology it is a very big dilemma! I do, however, hope to get back on track with updating and, if I am lucky, will have at least one vew chapter, maybe even two, posted for each story within the next week, including the Redux of "Like a Romantic Comedy." I am setting my sights rather high with this goal, but hopefully I'll be able to achieve it.

so as I've been able to update "In Retrospect" [the second time in less than four days, thank you very much] I've decided thatit is about time to force myself to get the other stories underway, particularily "Into the Dark", so you can expect an update from this one soon!

also, I really have to ask [in the case that anyone actually even reads these posts] what do people think of "In Retrospect" and, more particularily, the case taking place? Does it interest you? Is it a total waste of time and you're only in it for any Harry and Hermione action?

UPDATE: well it seems as if my writing prowess is not as great as i'd originally hoped and i, inadvertantly, ended up writing another chapter for "In Retrospect", lol. Anyway, not sure when "Into the Dark" will be updated, but I can promise that "In Retropect" will be soon!

Like a Romantic Comedy: this story is just terrible, simple as that. I would, however, like to give it a total makeover, so please don't expect anything from this front for a while as I'm still brainstorming over how I am going to go about doing it... rather mind-boggling, really.

In Retrospect: It's been too long really, and, sadly, I only have a page written out as, for some baffling reason, writer's block has struck with this fic. I know where I want to go and how to get there, but the actually writing it out part seems to have left me at a loss. I've finally managed to complete it [sat myself down and forced myself to write the damn ting already] and it's with my beta now so it's only a matter of when it'll be betad and then I will post it ASAP! :D UPDATED, and I'm currently working on the thirteenth chapter as I feel so guilty about the wait for the last one [sorry, again!]

Unearthed and Unnerved: this story just makes me sad, honestly. I genuinely like it, but having received about 7 reviews on average per chapter has just made m a bit depressed, I suppose, as it makes me wonder if it's even any good or worth continuing.
